Salem4youth is a 100+ acre working ranch for ‘prodigal’ boys. Located in the heartland of Central Illinois, Salem is just 1 1/2 hours south of Chicago in Flanagan, IL. For 115 years, Salem has had a tradition of service to children. Today, Salem ministers to boys, ages 12-18, whose current life path may be destructive or detrimental to their overall maturity and growth. (Current capacity is 26.)
The overall mission of the Salem4youth residential program is to teach the students that God has a plan for their life, and that God requires them to live by His rules, if they desire His blessing. Through a program of accountability, hard work, academics, athletics, and counseling, they are shown that there is a better way to accomplish the goals they have in life.
