SUWS of the Carolinas is a therapeutic wilderness program located in Blue Ridge Mountains in western North Carolina. They blend traditional therapeutic methods with a challenge of outdoor environment. They have licensed master’s or doctoral level therapists that are passionate about working with youth and oversee development and assist students and families toward treatment goals.

SUWS of the Carolina has a great student-to-staff ratio and individualized treatment plans. They provide a positive peer culture by addressing self-defeating behaviors as well as underlying the causes of those behaviors.
