Boys and Girls Home of Alaska is a sanctuary for children and youth who need mental health treatment. They offer a trauma-focused, psychiatric, inpatient residential treatment center that provides high quality, non-hospital mental health services to youth ages 12 -18.

Boys and Girls Home of Alaska helps teens who are facing struggles with anger management, suicidal thoughts, defiance for authority, issues with running away, homicidal thoughts, and mental health issues. Using a blend of counseling, education, recreation, community service and supportive living environments, the Boys & Girls Home of Alaska provides residential alternatives to keep children as close to home as possible. Students are enrolled as members of the Fairbanks North Star Borough (FNSB) School District.
