Since 1983, the Inn has been offering residential and step-down programs for young adults with complex emotional challenges. Services are exceptionally comprehensive, individualized, and offered by a highly trained and committed staff in the context of an intentional, supportive community. Programs use evidence-based treatment practices and balances therapeutic intervention, vocational development, and life skills training.
SMI maintains a commitment to work with appropriate family members of residents in a number of ways designed to meet their diverse needs. This may include a family meeting and program orientation during the initial visit to the Inn, ongoing conference calls between the resident, his/her case manager and family member(s) and on-site family meetings as needed.
