Staff at TransporTeens are child care professionals drawn from a wide variety of experience. Many of the agents have prior experience in youth treatment, some are teachers, others have law enforcement experience, most are parents themselves. All are mature, caring, and well trained individuals who are committed to our philosophy and mission.
The staff strongly believes that the worth of each soul is great. There are no throwaway children, none that are “too far gone”. When youth are transported, we communicate to them that “yes, things have gone wrong, but, things can get better”. We set boundaries for the youth and insist that they comply but, we always make the utmost effort to let the youth keep their dignity and show them respect.
